Good afternoon BAES Families,
In an effort to improve our pick-up procedure, we have been asked to alter our system in the afternoons. The board office staff and Buckhannon Police Department are asking that all parents adhere to this new line up procedure. Please see the picture for more details.
Parents are being asked to wait in the board office parking lot for line up, there will be staff there to assist as well as new lines for where to park. We ask that you now come down South Florida St, turning onto East Victoria St, and pull into the board office parking lot. From there, at dismissal time, a staff member will direct a set amount of vehicles across Smithfield St and into the regular pick-up spots.
At the board office's directive, any and all vehicles that are parked on Smithfield St before pick-up duty will not be permitted into the line, all must come through the board office lot. We will all be learning this process together, so please help us to make this as smooth as possible. We are all working towards getting our students home safely and without hindering the livelihood of our neighbors around the school grounds.
