In Ms. Terry's science class, students investigated the density of different substances, such as oils, water, dish soap, even honey and maple syrup. The students learned how to use a balance, work with a graduated cylinder and do the math required to find the density of a liquid. The finale came when they dumped all the liquids together to observe that no matter how they shook their cylinder, the liquids would always assort based on their density. We are proud of the job that the 8th graders are doing!
