FCES Families: BUHS is dismissing today at 11:30 am. However, FCES will remain operating on our normal schedule. This means our NEHS "Luau" Dance will still be on for 3:30 - 5 pm. Thanks, Mr. Baisden

This Friday, Aug 25, we will be having a "Back to School Luau" from 3:30 - 5 PM in the gymnasium at FCES. $5 for admission and a snack. Good Music/Lots of Fun! All proceeds to benefit the National Elementary Honor Society.

FCES Families: If you have a student who is out-of-district, but attends FCES, I need you to fill out the proper out-of-district form if you haven't already. Upshur County Schools announces their sponsorship of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program. Summer Feeding is open to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate. Beginning Thursday, June 8th – July 14th, BUHS, BUMS, Fred Eberle Technical Center and SYC will offer hot meals from 8:00-9:00am (breakfast) and 11:00-12:00pm (lunch) each weekday. (We will be closed on June 20th in observance of West Virginia Day and July 4th in observance of Independence Day.) For more information about the Summer Food Service Program, please call the Child Nutrition office at the Upshur County Board of Education at 304-472-5480.

3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Families: We will be having our version of the Wellness Day here at school tomorrow, May 24th. Parents, please make sure the students are dressed appropriately (tennis shoes, athletic wear) for the competitions. I also recommend bringing a water bottle to use during the day. If you would like to send sunscreen, the students are not to share unless it's with sibling. Thanks! Mr. Baisden
